We had a bird nest under our deck this spring and Matthew was able to get pretty close to it. It was a lot of fun for him to see the nest being built, the eggs inside and then the baby birds grow up. They are all gone out of the nest now and we still see them in our yard every now and then. It was a great lesson for Matthew.
