Trouble at the Orphanage...

 Meet Vicious... Vicious makes Jenny and I blood related. 

What? 

You don't follow? Okay, well let me start from the top.

 This is Matthew with(well not Vicious but lets pretend) 

They studied Crayfish the last month in science class. Well if you know Matthew at all you know he got really really really attached to Vicious.

The kids that had permission were allowed to put names in for the Crayfish raffle...yes, Crayfish raffle

I told Hannah that if she wanted to put her name in she could keep her Crayfish at our house because we were Crayfish equipped..being that we just moved our fish outside for the summer and all.

Hannah was much obliged and her and Matt agreed that they would have a much better chance if they were in it together. The two of them united to try to win Vicious(well so Matthew thought)

When the time came to draw for a cuddly crustacean Hannah's name was drawn first!! She was so excited, and overjoyed that she picked out Jet. Jet? This sent Matthew into hysteria(some of you have seen his sentimental side) His science teacher told me that she was even heartbroken at Matt's tears over Vicious. 

That left Vicious to be picked out by another girl in Matthew's class that Hannah was friends with. Hannah being a true friend spent the week before "going home day" talking her friend into letting them switch Crayfish so that Matt could have his beloved Vicious.

She did finally agree..

And there is Vicious..waiting to go home to the Willits home. Vicious is home safe now and quite happy  in her new home. Jenny and I are the proud grandparents of a bouncing crabby Crayfish! 

So how did Matthew thank Hannah for saving Vicious' life(no seriously in his mind that other girl was a poor choice of mom for his crayfish..anyone but him was!)

 Well you see..

Jenny had asked us to make farmhouse beds for all the girls at her house.

When Matthew found out there was a plan to make matching doll beds he bugged me non stop until I helped him build them. The best one of course was for Hannah. He wanted so badly to thank her.

 Then he stamped it...

Here is what it said!

 Then she read the bottom!!!

 Her heart must have been as happy as Matt's was over getting Vicious back...

 She lifted him off the ground when she hugged him.

Then she went back for another look at her doll bed that would match her own.

Random funny story: When Matt asked the librarian about books on crayfish, the librarian told Matthew they had a lot of cookbooks...Matthew was not amused by this.

In closing the Willits and the McCutcheon's are proud to announce Vicious Willcutchin into our clan...and hope we don't find her(yes it is a her) swimming in the pool this summer.
