I love doing senior photo shoots...
really love them
Tonight I got a chance to shoot a few of my ideas that I have had for over a year...more to come on that.
Matthew got to go to the fair!
It started with a pig race!
I have to say I love baby pigs...do you think there is room at the inn?
no seriously!!
here they come round the bin! See Matthew in the corner?
einy...menie..minie...moe...
Would you kill me Mike if I brought home a baby piggie???
Then Matthew's day got even better!! We ran into his friend James from school. Matthew loves James. They offered to hang out with Matt while I had my mini shoot. It was such a blessing.
ironically these goats belong to Heather, the senior I was meeting up with. I had no idea when I shot this picture.
This goat wanted to know what all the fuss was about.
after the shoot I let Matthew pick one ride to do. He picked the bumper cars.
I think he looks really old in this picture.
then I made him let me take his picture at the fair
his shirt just cracks me up
Then we saw this young kid running the fishing game, I am pretty sure he was younger than Matthew and this was his life...
I wonder what his life is like? I wonder if it is super fun and full of adventure? Maybe it is not..I saw an older man talking to him for a few seconds and I wondered if that was his dad. Then I wondered if this is what he did so he could be with his dad. He seemed pretty comfortable.
I love midways
fairs were a big part of my younger life. We lived right by the fairgrounds where the state fair was held and as a kid my friends and I would walk over from open to close ever day of the fair. We worked there, played there, and knew every inch of it.
Different worlds..Matthew and I
Four hours later we said goodbye to the cows and walked back to the car...
Matthew talked all the way home, and then for a bit after we got home.
He was so happy!
It was a good day to be a nine year old boy.
Oh...my photo shoot?
Here are a few of my favorites!
It was very much a mini shoot but I was able to capture her love of 4H and FFA and that is a goldmine to me.
