Matthew meeting his big brother. They would be friends for life.
I will never forget the first time I saw this smile. I was changing him in his bedroom at our old condo. He looked up and me and gave me the biggest smile. My heart sank at the thought that I had brought that smile into the world.
This is proof to all of you moms out there how valuable a good camera is. Mike and I had one of the very early digital cameras. It was 2 megapixels! We thought it was great because we could email pictures. Now I look at these and wish I would have what I do now. Times have changed.
He was always such a big kid. The doctor told us that most big babies even out in the first 4 months. Matthew did not. He remained in the top 95% until he got older. No matter how much we adjusted his jumper he weighed it down.

I am sure he is going to love me for this some day.
One of my favorite shots. If you look close at his belly you can see the drool. He started teething super early. He actually had his front bottom teeth up and out at three months. Our friends joked that he needed them to start eating steak, as big as he was.

There is a recap of some of his little baby pictures. I wish they were not so horrible. It is funny how when you are in these moments you don't think you will forget them. Then all the sudden you are looking in the face of a boy half way to adulthood and you can't remember having a baby at all.
Okay...more to come.
