Well to start with it would involve women instead of men....

It would smell like flowers and not smelly
unshowered...men...

It would be full of bright colors and lots of people.

It would also involve lots of veggies and not so much killing of your own meat...

Okay, you get the point. I could go on but I want to tell you about these pictures!
Jenny, Amy and I had been talking about going up to the farmer's market in Minneapolis for months now. Both Jenny's husband and Mine are going to be gone next weekend(her husband is not going to AC, his is work involved) So we decided this would be the perfect time for us to get away. Amy is a mom of one of the little girls that has been in both Matthew and Hannah's class over the past few years. She was a blast! Amy it was so much fun hanging out with you. Thank you so much for driving. You made the day way better!

There were so many
venders selling big bouquets of flowers for $5.00 or less that we all had to buy some. Jenny made a comment on her blog that just
caring around the flowers made you feel
special. How fitting that I snapped this shot of her holding all three bunches while Amy and I were in line to pee:-) I actually tried handing her some more stuff a few minutes later. Then laughed at how silly that thought was.

I love this picture of Jenny.

For two years now I have been telling Jenny(and anyone else that would listen) about Bauer Brothers salvage in the city. It is this fantastic warehouse filled to the brim with old things torn out of houses, hotels and other places. It is my idea of a fun house. I love it! I just wish they were a lot better with pricing things.

This picture is taken in front of an old
freight elevator. Jenny and Amy were a little afraid of the giant contraption with a deep drop to the basement. All I could see was a great background for a shot.

The lighting in the stairwell was fantastic! You could shoot portraits in there! I love this shot of Jenny it looks like it came out of an old movie. Jenny is .....the girl in the stairwell.

Look at all this stuff. They have 100,000 square feet of stuff...lots and lots of stuff!

Poor Amy got stuck holding things all day. Actually she insisted on holding thing so Jenny and I could shoot. Her poor husband is going to wish she never meet us. She keeps bugging us about moving out to her neighborhood. Those
ghetto fires do sound like fun! Jenny and I keep bugging her about getting a camera!
I actually love this picture of you Amy! It makes me Shutter..hehe!
I had a great time! Now, I just need to put those shutters to good use. :) (And all those flowers are still looking beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteHey...love those pics! Looks like a fun day was had by all. Jenny, your purse didn't happen to come from Mexico did it? ;)
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay! You have convinced me of three things...first, this blog thing is way better than facebook. Second, i probably need to invest in a new camera. And finally, you two are super cool to hang out with! When is our next adventure?
ReplyDeleteShana, I am still waiting for that dress to be transformed into a nice bag. :(
ReplyDeleteAmy, I am ready any day. You let us know!!!
