One of the first things I did when we moved into our house was plant this little apple tree. Matthew picked it out. I wanted a different one but he insisted on this one. After four years of living here I swear it has hardly grown. This year however...
It finally has blooms! It seems to small to support the weight of apples, and I don't even remember what kind of apples they are. Never the less, I am so happy to see them.
Our robins nest is back under the deck and if has four bright blue eggs in it. The babies last year disappeared one day when they were still too young. Matthew and I never knew what happened to them. I hope this years nest makes it.
And lastly....the boys are back at the pond!
Matthew is not fly fishing yet. Mike wants him to wait until the water is a little warmer and the fish are biting more. In the mean time he is running around the pond with his "worm dunking" gear.
I am getting to take more pictures
My totally adorable husband is getting to do what he loves most.
And the Bass....are in fear of them.
Happy spring everyone:-)

Mike took that last picture on his phone. Not a bad picture from a blackberry.
ReplyDeleteWe miss spring on Snowy Lane, that is a big bass Matthew caught! Did the tulips come up next door?
ReplyDeleteMonica, I bet your tree is a crab apple tree. We had one at our first house in Rochester. When they bloom, they are just beautiful! We have a small white one now...they do seem to grow really slow. Loved your post! I bet Mike and Matthew were happy boys to get to go fishing again and you are a happy mom that gets some peace! :)
