My little ☆ of the week!

This week Matthew was the star in his classroom.  Could we have any more pictures to send of him...poor Mrs. Demmer.  I bet she was exhausted after hanging them all up.

On Tuesday I went out and taught his class a session on photography.  It was so fun! I love his class so much.

On Wednesday his class took a field trip to the Minnesota Zoo.  Each group took cameras to practice some of the tips I taught them.  If you want to see those pictures pop on over to www.mrsbeckydemmer.blogspot.com  My pictures from the trip are posted there too.  There are some of my favorite pictures ever taken there.
On Thursday I went out and had lunch with him.  I even got to see Hannah.  I loved catching this moment on the playground as Matthew said sorry this time:-)
I surprised Matthew with Subway for lunch.  Ironically he was looking forward to school lunch.  He was also a bit panic stricken because he had ordered it and not eating was breaking the rules.  Matthew hates breaking the rules.

On Friday Mrs. Demmer had Mike and I send out letters to Matthew saying how much we loved him.  This made me cry my face off.  I read Mike's letter to Matthew and realized in my entire life I had never received a letter like that from my dad.  Our son was only eight and he was hearing the most amazing words from his father. He was a bit horrified to hear this in front of his class.  I bet someday he will think differently.

Matthew you are a star to your mom and dad.  We love you so very much and we are so thankful to be your parents.

  3. Yes, they are headphones. They are always on that table. Matthew did not bring them. I will have to ask what they are for.
